WWE Payback 2014: Rusev vs. Big E official for June 1 in Chicago

Although WWE will not acknowledge it until this coming Friday night when the announcement airs on SmackDown on SyFy, the match is official nonetheless: Rusev vs. Big E has been booked for the upcoming Payback pay-per-view (PPV) this coming Sun., June 1, 2014, at the Allstate Arena in Chicago, Illinois.

This match was first teased when Big E attempted to save Hacksaw Jim Duggan from the clutches of the Bulgarian Brute on Monday Night Raw a few weeks back. I say "attempted" because Big E was blasted out of the ring and left selling on the floor as the segment ended.

A week later it appeared the program had been abruptly dropped but WWE went back to it on Raw and SmackDown this week before officially announcing it at last night's taping (full spoilers for the show here) in Atlanta.
