WWE NXT results, live open thread for May 22, 2014: Bolieve in tournaments

Here's a place to check results and comment along with the latest airing of WWE NXT in its regular Thursday night at 9PM Eastern time slot on WWE Network. We'll have our regular reactions post later, but we'll post match results here. More importantly, this gives you Cagesiders a dedicated place to rave and/or bitch about whatever goes down on the show dedicated to WWE's Florida-based developmental program produces - as it airs!

Last week, Alexa Bliss' Cinderella run in the Women's tournament was cut short by Charlotte.  NXT Tag champs The Ascension squashed their latest set of jobbers, but had El Local and Kalisto come out to offer them a real challenger for Takeover.  Mojo Rawley answered The Artiste, Aiden English's taunts with his ass, and Colin Cassady picked up a big win while CJ Parker protested the environmentally unclean ways of NXT.  In the the triple threat main event to determine who would face NXT champion Adrian Neville on next week's live special, Tyson Kidd covered Tyler Breeze to earn the title shot.  Sami Zayn came up just shy of breaking up the pinfall, and a lingering camera shot of the anguish that caused him raised questions about where The Likable One goes from here.

This week...it's the other women's semi-final, when former Divas champion Natalya will lock-up with Sasha Banks.  Can The Boss make it an all-BFF final?  The other match announced in advance, and booked by occasional authority figure JBL, will see Bo Dallas fighting for his NXT life against Big E.  If the leader of the BO Movement can win, he gets another shot at Neville's belt.  If E wins the battle of former NXT champs, Dallas has to leave the show.
