The conclusion of this past Saturday night's very good War of the Worlds internet pay-per-view (results of which can found here and which can be purchased as streaming Video On Demand here) saw Ring of Honor (ROH) immediately switching into hype mode to keep fans excitement and their own momentum rolling toward their television pay-per-view (PPV) debut on Sunday, June 22nd.
After the main event saw AJ Styles successfully defend his IWGP Heavyweight Championship over both New Japan's Rainmaker Kazuchika Okada and ROH's Michael Elgin, ROH World Champion Adam Cole stormed the ring and took out all three men, declaring himself the best in the world - which is also the name of the company's PPV debut from Nashville, Tennessee next month.
Fans are assuming that this is setting up Elgin finally getting another one-on-one shot at Cole with the belt on the line, his first since losing the finals of last year's tournament to crown a successor to Jay Briscoe when the Sandy Fork native was forced to vacate the title due to injury.
After the action from Hammerstein Ballroom was complete, the video that accompanies this post aired. And it looks like the Fallen Angel will be following fellow TNA departees like Styles and Jay Lethal back to the company where they first made it big on the national independent scene.
And as the video says, Christopher Daniels won't be coming alone. Word on the dirt screens is that Daniels' Bad Influence partner couldn't be shown in the video because his TNA contract doesn't technically expire until June 1st. But every sign in the clip points to Frankie Kazarian being the plus one...
I can't be the only one hyped for the promo and wrestling duels between the best in the biz-a-ness and new ROH Tag Champs reDRagon, can I?
