The Midcard Dumpster Fire

I figured with all of the ad nauseam talk about The Streak Ending, will Punk come back or not come back, making up convoluted ways why Daniel Bryan somehow got screwed again even though he was in and won the main event at WrestleMania. I figured it would be nice to think and write about something that does not relate to any of those topics. So I figured I would write about how the WWE's midcard situation is a Philadelphia 76ers level dumpster fire right now.

Recently everyone(most of us cagesiders and IWC) agree that the WWE brings new guys in and then strapped a rocket to them right away(Fandango pinning Chris Jericho is his first WWE PPV match anyone) and if they are not over and clicking at a John Cena main event level within a 3 to 4 month window they're sent to the midcard wasteland. Or worse off its jobber purgatory(like poor Xavier Woods).

So my question is. Why doesn't the WWE bring guys along slowly anymore? Why do they take guys who are seemingly doing well and getting over in the midcard and then just forget about them? Over the last 2 years Dolph Ziggler, Ryback, Damien Sandow, Brodus Clay and The Rhodes Brothers were all wrestlers who were doing very well by getting good crowd reactions and having decent to good matches and yet its like the WWE just got tired of them for no reason and moved onto the new flavor of the month. What's going on is the WWE secretly being booked by a 13 year girl? For every Wyatt Family who come in and get over right away we have 10 Fandango's.

It's just getting old to me seeing a guy come in and being a world beater his first 3 months in(Rusev now) and then 18 months later(Rusev Fall 2015) jobbing out to the new guy of the moment. It doesn't make the product look credible to anyone who has a decent memory and can remember what's happened over the last 2 to 3 years. What does everyone else think about the WWE's current Midcard Dumpster Fire? (Sorry I'm ranting I think I'm just a bitter Damian Sandow fan angry about seeing him getting squashed and turned into a boring colorless jobber despite having a being a great character, good promo guy, interesting heel while being a solid and unique worker IMO)
