Stone Cold Steve Austin and The Rock open WrestleMania 30 with Hulk Hogan

Pure fan service as the three biggest stars in WWE history all came together for an amazing start to WrestleMania 30, hyping the show and the company's legacy.

It didn't take long before the glass shattered.

Was it an audible to save WrestleMania 30 host Hulk Hogan, who had already referred to the Mercedes-Benz Superdome as the Silverdome three or four times when The Rattlesnake came strutting down the ramp?

Probably not, but it was the two most recognizable faces in the history of WWE, and arguably pro wrestling, face-to-face to open the 30th edition of The Showcase of the Immortals.

Austin immediately took a jab at Hogan's flub and then asked the crowd if they wanted him to open a can of whoop ass on the Hulkster, and of course the smart asses screamed "Hell Yeah" (I would have too).  He didn't though - rather, with a smile on his face he put over Hogan and the current roster.

And then it got CRAZY...if you smell what I'm cooking.

The Brahma Bull worked the crowd from the stage while Hulk and Stone Cold couldn't help smiling in the ring.

The biggest grossing movie star in the world then shared a brief hug with each of his fellow Legends before grabbing a mic as THE MILLIONS chanted "Rocky".

Dwayne Johnson did a series of "finally"s, including one designed to razz his WrestleMania X8 opponent, before putting over both men as the biggest names in the history of WWE.  One of the best talkers in the history of the business then tied the threads of WWE history together as he compared John Cena to Hulk Hogan, and Daniel Bryan to the Texas Rattlesnake

And then of course, himself, with the kind of juvenile rhyming braggadocio that I shouldn't like any more but that I still can't help but laughing out loud along with him.

All three men delivered their catchphrase, including Hogan teasing himself for the Silver/Superdome flub, and Steveweisers were shared to end one of the coolest WrestleMania opens ever.
