Tonight's (Sun., April 6, 2014) WrestleMania 30 event at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana, kicked off with hour two of the pre-show on the WWE Network featuring The Usos defending the tag team championship titles against Rybaxel, the Real Americans, and Los Matadores in a Fatal Four-Way match.
At the last minute, it was announced that this would be an elimination match.
Here's the order they were taken out:
1. Los Matadores (tapped to Jack Swagger's Patriot Act)
2. Rybaxel (Ryback pinned by Cesaro after Swiss Death and Neutralizer)
3. Real Americans (Cesaro pinned after a double splash)
The match was good for what it was supposed to be, a fun way to get the crowd good and ready for the main pay-per-view (PPV) offering. They mixed in some awesome gimmick work with strong workrate and all the right high spots at all the right times.
It was chaos by the end, and the crowd was eating it up with "THIS IS AWESOME" chants.
After the match, Swagger put Cesaro in the Patriot Act before Zeb Colter demanded the two shake hands. Swagger went to shake hands but Cesaro knocked him down and did the Cesaro Swing while Zeb screamed in the corner.
Cesaro is apparently on his own now.
