We're now just a number of hours away from the start of WrestleMania 30 tonight (Sun., April 6, 2014) at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana, and while rumors persist that CM Punk will be making his return to WWE after over two months away, no one is sure if that's going to happen.
In fact, it's looking more and more likely he won't be there.
Here's this:
At this exact moment at least, CM Punk is in Chicago #f4wmania30 #WrestleMania
— Bryan Alvarez (@bryanalvarez) April 6, 2014
It's certainly not out of this world to think Punk could make it to New Orleans from Chicago in a matter of hours, especially if that's what WWE wanted. There's also the possibility that this is misinformation, though Alvarez is typically very reliable with these things. (Editor's note: Some of you are saying Punk was spotted at a Chicago Blackhawks game today, which explains his being in Chicago.)
So we'll just continue to do what we've been doing all along: Update as we go, expect nothing, and hope for the best.
