Report: Vickie Guerrero leaving WWE after WrestleMania 30

Excuse me?

WWE.com

Although she first appeared on WWE television before her husband, Eddie Guerrero's, death in late 2005, Vickie Guerrero wasn't prominently featured until sometime in 2006. She's had a role on television in some capacity ever since, whether that be extensive programs with Edge, Big Show, Dolph Ziggler, Jack Swagger, or her various stints as General Manager of Monday Night Raw and Friday Night SmackDown.

Now, after all these years of service to pro wrestling, she's leaving the industry.

As first reported by SEScoops and confirmed by the Wrestling Observer, Guerrero will be done with the company after WrestleMania 30, though it's not clear exactly when her last hurrah will be. She's leaving to pursue outside interests.

Guerrero will have a somewhat prominent role at WrestleMania tonight (Sun., April 6, 2014) at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana, considering she's the one who set up the Divas Championship Invitational with 14 women in the ring at one time competing for AJ Lee's title.

It's expected she'll get to make an appearance for one last WrestleMania moment before she rides off into the sunset ... for now.

Sad to see her go, Cagesiders?
