Christopher Daniels staying busy being awesome

His status with TNA, and therefore as a presence on televised pro wrestling, may be up in the air, but Christopher Daniels is staying busy. Wrestling, comic books and cartoons are all on the docket for this pop culture renaissance man.

They haven't been seen on TNA Impact Wrestling in quite some time, and signs point to their following AJ styles out of Orlando.  But that hasn't stopped Bad Influence of Christopher Daniels and Frankie Kazarian from being wildy entertaining in other ventures.

The man himself released a YouTube video of his voice work as the Punisher in an upcoming Marvel Comics animated project entitled Marvel Superheroes: What The--?!, based on their self-parody comics of the same name.  While it will deprive the audience of his movie star good looks, it should be a good match for The Fallen Angel's sense of humor.

And last week on the Let's Talk Comics podcast, Daniels revealed that he'll not only be appearing in an upcoming comic book, but he's writing it too!  Christopher Daniels And Kazarian Wrestling Aw Yeah Comics! will be released on digital comics web service Comixology with a script by Daniels and art by former Tiny Titans (DC Comics) artist Art Baltazar.

Amidst all this, Daniels is still finding time to display his considerable skill in the squared circle, as he and Kaz will headline the Dragon Gate USA Mercury Rising show on Saturday, April 5th in New Orleans during WrestleMania weekend.  The fact that their match will not be featured on iPPV or the subsequent DVD release probably just means they are waiting for their TNA contract to expire, but provides a glimmer of hope to fans hoping Bad Influence will end up on a promotion with a television deal.

What do you think of The Fallen Angel's newest ventures?  And where do you want to see he and Kaz land, or try their hand at, next?
