WWE MAIN EVENT RESULTS & LIVE BLOG APRIL 22

Geno here.

Broadcast is live and I'm late getting in. Sorry, Cagesiders.

El Torito vs. Hornswoggle

They're really hammering this feud, aren't they?

Hornswoggle went over with the Tadpole Splash. It looked terrible.

They replayed the Evolution vs. Shield segment from Raw last night. Roman Reigns really is destined for greatness. And I hope Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins are right there to give him a ton of great matches.

They advertised that Sheamus would be in action next but didn't tell us his opponent. Intrigue!

Sheamus vs. Titus O'Neil

The announcers did what they could to prop Titus up as a challenger to Sheamus but he hasn't been able to get any traction since splitting away from Darren Young in the Prime Time Players break up.

Sheamus let Titus get most of his stuff in, which was basically just O'Neil throwing him around then getting cocky at the end demanding Sheamus never touch him until a Brogue Kick came from nowhere for the pin.

Matches like this make you wonder what the point of this show is and what kind of value there is for it.

The Raw Rebound was Kane taking out Daniel Bryan to give him some time off to take care of things regarding his dearly departed father.

Looking back on the segment, Stephanie McMahon was great expressing mock concern.

Jimmy Uso vs. Ryback

Jimmy was married to Naomi on the last episode of Total Divas and WWE gave it one short video package. You would think they would capitalize a little more on that, no?

My stream was skipping around really bad throughout this match. From what I saw, Ryback went over after a fairly long match. That was the worst the stream has ever been for me.

End.
