So far, the biggest part Hulk Hogan has played as host of WrestleMania 30, scheduled for this Sun., April 6, 2014, at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana, is announcing the introduction of an annual Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal match.
The winner of this match, a 30-man over-the-top-rope battle royal, will receive a five-foot trophy of Andre's likeness. The actual trophy has yet to be revealed but WWE.com is providing a sneak peek (check out an entire photo gallery by clicking here), and this thing looks AWESOME.
How cool is that? And it's not even the finished product.
There has been speculation that the winner of that trophy will, in fact, lug it around with him and it will likely be used in angles and feuds going forward. That's not uncommon with WWE, but those rumors are unconfirmed, even if it would seem likely.
Either way, all you trophy marks out there have to be looking forward to this, right?
