As announced on last night's episode of Monday Night Raw in Birmingham, the John Cena vs. Bray Wyatt rematch from WrestleMania 30 will take place on Sun., May 4, 2014, at the IZOD Center in East Rutherford, New Jersey, as part of the Extreme Rules special event.
From WWE.com:
John Cena may have left WrestleMania 30 with his legacy intact after defeating Bray Wyatt, but The Eater of Worlds is far from finished with his legendary foe. Wyatt will continue his devilish quest to unleash the monster that he believes resides inside Cena at Extreme Rules on May 4, when the two clash in a Steel Cage Match.
On Raw, Cena's reasoning for challenging Wyatt to a steel cage match was to isolate Wyatt from his two goons, Erick Rowan and Luke Harper. The idea seems sound until you consider The Wyatt Family cost Cena the WWE world heavyweight championship by breaking into the Elimination Chamber structure.
And they did that in the dark without breaking anything!
Either way, the rematch is happening and it should be a far more interesting match than the initial meeting ... right?
