Chicago-based independent wrestling promotion Pro Championship Wrestling has sent out a press release announcing that Sting will be making an appearance at their June 21, 2014 Dream Night 13 show in Oaklawn, Illinois.
You can read the press release and watch the man himself cut a promo hyping the appearance below. It sounds like a one-off autograph signing and not a full-fledged return to taking bookings. But not something he would do if he were going to be appearing on WWE television to start an angle for SummerSlam.
Pro Championship Wrestling (PCW) is proud to announce today that The Icon Sting will be making a very rare appearance at PCW's Dream Night 13. This event will take place Saturday June 21st, 2014 at The Oaklawn Pavilion 9401 Oak Park Ave. OakLawn, IL. Doors will open at 5:30 PM and Bell Time will be at 6:30 PM.General Admission tickets are only $15.00. To meet the Icon Sting you must purchase a Super Ticket for $125.00, which includes one general admission ticket, one photo opp and one item signed (additional autographs will cost $40.00 per item and are available only with the purchase of a Superticket).
