Jimmy Hart's Cageside Evaluation

His name is Jimmy Hart and Cageside Seats readers have reported back on what they love and loathe about "The Mouth of the South". Here's the full evaluation.

What you loved:

  1. Music Skills - The man helped create Shawn Michaels' entrance theme, one of the longest running themes ever!
  2. Heat - He was great as a heel manager, drawing heat as the loud, annoying, non-stop talking manager. Could hear him coming from a mile away with that damn...
  3. Megaphone - It worked great as motivational piece for his wrestlers during the match, also doubled as a weapon.
  4. Jackets - You guys enjoyed that he would change up his jackets depending on the wrestler he was managing. It's all about the details...
  5. Hart Foundation - Some of you felt this was the peak of his time as a manager.

My favorite comment goes to SkyonAir - "Love: Hate-sink. You heard him before you saw him, and that wasn’t normally his voice. It was the crowd trying DESPERATELY to boo him out of the building, out of fear that he’d trash-talk their favorite superstar into coming out and receiving a beat-down, or just out of the annoyance that they might have to listen to this guy talk in general. People hated this guy and boy howdy hey did he feed off of it, giving it right back in a way not many wrestlers at the time could. He also made "Sexy Boy", which is awesome."

What you loathed:

  1. Hogan Guy - He has followed Hogan from WWE, to WCW, to Hogan's restaurant in Florida, back to the WWE! I can't believe how many pics I saw him in when Hogan returned last Monday. I think this is the first time you guys loathed who the person being evaluated is friends with.
  2. Dated Gimmick - Fit perfectly in the 80's. Today if he came out with that gimmick, I don't think things would work out so well.
  3. Megaphone - You guys loved it, but it's also annoying as a shit, seriously dude lose the megaphone! Enough!
  4. WCW Run - Lol, it's back! His time with WCW was not great mainly because he was a face, and it just didn't work...and he was with Hogan, so yeah...

My favorite comment goes to ReverendKain - "Bad: Why isn’t he managing 3MB? He should be managing 3MB. Maybe not all the time, because he’s old, I get it, but every time he’s in the building, he should be managing 3MB."

Finally, the poll! With 92 votes, Mr. Hart's average score is 3.9

Thanks, Cagesiders! Tomorrow's pick is so smug.

Until then!
