Rumor Roundup (Nov. 4, 2014): WWE Network UK update, Randy Orton injury, Rey Mysterio status, more!

Speculating on the rumors surrounding pro wrestling is a favored pastime of many fans, perhaps second only to actually watching the matches. In this daily column, we take a look at the latest rumors being churned out by the pro wrestling rumor mill.

Important reminder: Rumors are just that -- rumors. None of this has been confirmed as legitimate news or fact, it's just circulating around the pro wrestling rumor mill. Remember, take it all with a grain of salt.

Rumors for the Day:

  • According to the Wrestling Observer, the WWE Network UK launch delay, while ill timed, was due to "ongoing negotiations". Wrestle Zone later reported that it was due to a "legal matter" with Sky Sports.
  • Randy Orton will not be working the Survivor Series pay-per-view but is expected back in December.
  • Rey Mysterio was apparently at Raw last night and, according to the Observer, he was there to talk to Vince McMahon about leaving the company. However, the creative team was apparently told to come up with ideas for him, so he could be used again soon.
  • Fans in the arena in Buffalo at Raw last night were told shortly before the show went on the air that John Cena wouldn't be appearing and if they wanted refunds, they could get them within a 20-minute window.
  • The script for last night's episode of Raw was completed really late in the day, according to PW Insider. Meanwhile, The Ascension were apparently in the building but obviously not used.

If you have heard of any interesting rumors that you'd like to add, feel free to post them in the comments section below. Just remember they are rumors and not confirmed as fact, so please take them as such. Have fun with it.
