Speculating on the rumors surrounding pro wrestling is a favored pastime of many fans, perhaps second only to actually watching the matches. In this daily column, we take a look at the latest rumors being churned out by the pro wrestling rumor mill.
Important reminder: Rumors are just that -- rumors. None of this has been confirmed as legitimate news or fact, it's just circulating around the pro wrestling rumor mill. Remember, take it all with a grain of salt.
Rumors for the Day:
- Regarding rumors of AJ Lee leaving WWE soon, and her quick loss at Survivor Series fueling that fire, it looks like those are just rumors and she isn't planning on going anywhere anytime soon.
- According to PW Insider, Randy Orton was backstage at Survivor Series and originally booked to return during the main event but the call was made to go with Sting's big debut instead.
- Sting's debut, by the way, was to both promote WWE 2K15 and drive home that anything can happen during WWE PPV shows on the Network so fans should make sure to re-up for December. That's also why Steve Austin's podcast with Vince McMahon won't air until Dec. 1 after Raw.
- The reason the Survivor Series post-show, which was to feature an interview with Vince, didn't air on the Network is apparently because the PPV ran long.
- WWE will release a Monday Night War DVD next year of the series airing on the WWE Network this year, according to WrestlingDVDNews.com.
