The main event of tonight's WWE Survivor Series pay-per-view at the Scottrade Center in St. Louis, Missouri featured Team Cena battling Team Authority for control of the company. Well, if the former team won, The Authority would lose its power, and if the latter team won, Cena's squad would be fired.
The Authority is dead.
And we have Sting to thank for it.
Here is the order of eliminations (and who they were eliminated by):
1. Mark Henry (Big Show)
2. Ryback (Rusev)
3. Rusev (Count out)
4. Erick Rowan (Luke Harper)
5. John Cena (Seth Rollins)
6. Big Show (Count out)
7. Kane (Dolph Ziggler)
8. Luke Harper (Dolph Ziggler)
9. Seth Rollins (Dolph Ziggler)
Survivors:
DOLPH ZIGGLER
Ryback, shockingly enough, despite the booking over the past month, was eliminated super early. Big Show turned out to be the member of Team Cena who turned, knocking Cena out and getting him eliminated by Rollins. He then walked out, leaving only Dolph Ziggler to battle against Kane, Harper, and Rollins.
He battled and battled until he had the match won, at which point Triple H grabbed the referee out of the ring and knocked him out. After Dolph had the match won yet again, Triple H once again interfered, this time laying Ziggler out with a Pedigree.
Then, it happened.
The man called Sting.
He slowly walked to the ring, knocked the referee out, had a staredown with Triple H, ducked a punch, threw a kick, hit the Scorpion Death Drop, put Ziggler on top of Rollins to ensure good prevailed, and left.
Wow.
