Report: Sting WWE debut set for Survivor Series 2014

According to a report from PW Insider, Sting will make his WWE debut this Sun., Nov. 23, 2014, at the Survivor Series pay-per-view (PPV) at the Scottrade Center in St. Louis, Missouri.

What he'll be doing there is not clear. It's also being reported that he's not currently scheduled for Raw or SmackDown next week.

The current main event of the show features Team Cena (John Cena, Erick Rowan, Ryback, Big Show, Dolph Ziggler) taking on Team Authority (Seth Rollins, Kane, Luke Harper, Rusev, Mark Henry) with the added stipulations that if Team Cena wins, The Authority will no longer be in power and if Team Authority wins, all of Team Cena will be fired.

Except Cena, of course.

If you remember, Sting was originally rumored to become General Manager once he finally arrived in WWE but that was months and months ago. A lot has changed since then, of course, but the timing is rather interesting considering the circumstances.

Either way, the Stinger in a WWE ring may finally be happening and WWE is taking advantage of the biggest audience possible by bringing him in during a free PPV show that should reach the largest number of viewers for any event outside WrestleMania.
