Rumor Roundup (Nov. 20, 2014): Survivor Series, Seth Rollins TLC match, Chris Jericho update, more!

Speculating on the rumors surrounding pro wrestling is a favored pastime of many fans, perhaps second only to actually watching the matches. In this daily column, we take a look at the latest rumors being churned out by the pro wrestling rumor mill.

Important reminder: Rumors are just that -- rumors. None of this has been confirmed as legitimate news or fact, it's just circulating around the pro wrestling rumor mill. Remember, take it all with a grain of salt.

Rumors for the Day:

  • It is expected that WWE will shoot a major angle at Survivor Series in addition to the main event match because offering the show for free means they will have more eyeballs on the event than pretty much any other show outside of WrestleMania and maybe Royal Rumble.
  • According to the Observer, Seth Rollins is likely working a TLC match at the pay-per-view of the same name on Dec. 14 in Cleveland. It looks like the options are Rollins vs. John Cena or a triple threat featuring Rollins vs. Cena vs. Randy Orton.
  • Chris Jericho is apparently negotiating a deal with WWE to work a full house show schedule in January and February but not work any TV dates, according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. He's apparently doing so with the impression that he doesn't want to make a return to TV unless it's a big deal, but he does have the ability to cut a deal with the company to work WrestleMania 31 although that's not the plan right now.
  • Now that TNA has signed its TV deal, the Observer notes there is a belief the company will open up negotiations with wrestlers who have had their contracts expire or are about to, such as Kurt Angle, Samoa Joe, The Wolves, Bully Ray, and others.
  • There was some outcry recently regarding wrestlers with Ring of Honor deals being unable to accept other dates. Apparently, some have signed exclusive contracts while others have not but ROH wants its top stars to ease back on working outside shows.

If you have heard of any interesting rumors that you'd like to add, feel free to post them in the comments section below. Just remember they are rumors and not confirmed as fact, so please take them as such. Have fun with it.
