After a few months off from the "talking up one more huge payday match" business, 61 year old Hulk Hogan jumped back into it while in Texas for WWE Raw this past Monday.
The Susan G. Komen partnership point man spoke to the San Antonio Express-News' MySanAntonio.com, and told interviewer Chris Quinn that there was one man he's obsessed with facing in the ring:
I've been chasing that guy for 25 years. Stone Cold Steve Austin. I would have liked to have tagged with him. And then turn on him right in the middle of it, and then he would have had to wrestle me.
At least the Hulkster has focused in one target, after spending August talking up issues with Austin, John Cena and Brock Lesnar.
Rumors persist of a Stone Cold comeback, even though the man himself and his good buddy Jim Ross, wrote off his recent podcast comments as a return to weightlifting and bodybuilding, not wrestling. And most of the focus of a return for the Rattlesnake has been on WrestleMania 32 in Dallas...and event that will occur when Hogan is even closer to receiving Social Security.
What do you think, Cagesiders? More of the Hulkster keeping his name in peoples' minds, or a match that could happen someday?
