Video: Dolph Ziggler continues putting over Cesaro as a genius in the ring

New, comments

In his interview after defeating Cesaro at the "Hell in a Cell" pay-per-view in Dallas, Texas, Intercontinental Champion Dolph Ziggler continued putting over his foe as a mat technician and wrestling genius. It's a refreshing change of pace from what we're used to in WWE.

"You want to know how I feel? Follow me on Twitter. You want to know how good Cesaro is? He's damn good. I still can't feel my side from a match on Friday Night SmackDown. Every time I step in the ring, it's to put my body on the line for the WWE Universe, it's to represent the WWE, it's to prove why I am the Intercontinental champion. I've never met an opponent like Cesaro. He's cold. I don't want to say calculating because he already has it all planned out in his head, he's a genius in the ring. Somehow, I found a way to not give up, to not quit, to not get my head beat in and still somehow kick out and fight on. The WWE Universe was behind me the entire way. If you want to see an awesome mat technician, step foot in the ring with Cesaro. But if you want to hang around with him... that's something you put on your mantle, that I hung with this guy in the ring. Tonight, I came out on top in a 2-out-of-3 Falls match, which I've never been in in my life, I'm sure Cesaro has been in hundreds. If I can say anything to anyone out there: If you want to come at me, if you want to take the Intercontinental championship, I just went through hell to hang on to it. That's what it means to me. I am the Intercontinental champion not just in my mind, not just on Twitter, not just to my family; I'm the Intercontinental champion because damn it, I earned it."
