Rumor Roundup (Oct. 18, 2014): Hell in a Cell main event, Hulk Hogan WWE return, Ryback, more!

Speculating on the rumors surrounding pro wrestling is a favored pastime of many fans, perhaps second only to actually watching the matches. In this daily column, we take a look at the latest rumors being churned out by the pro wrestling rumor mill.

Important reminder: Rumors are just that -- rumors. None of this has been confirmed as legitimate news or fact, it's just circulating around the pro wrestling rumor mill. Remember, take it all with a grain of salt.

Rumors for the Day:

  • The main event of Hell in a Cell will be John Cena vs. Randy Orton, inasmuch as it will be the match that goes on last. The Dean Ambrose vs. Seth Rollins match will still get a ton of promotion and it will be promoted as a double main event but the headlining spot is going to Cena and Orton.
  • Hulk Hogan is set for Raw next week and it looks like the plan is to use him on TV, as opposed to bringing him to the show and not using him on screen like was done for Ric Flair and Jake Roberts this past Monday.
  • Ryback is apparently close to being medically cleared and should be back on television within the next month or so, or at least before the end of the year.
  • Although it's been worked into storylines, it's been reported by the likes of PW Insider that Mojo Rawley has a legitimate shoulder injury and he'll be getting surgery soon.
  • There's apparently been some talk of using JoJo as a ring announcer on the main roster at some point soon.

If you have heard of any interesting rumors that you'd like to add, feel free to post them in the comments section below. Just remember they are rumors and not confirmed as fact, so please take them as such. Have fun with it.
