WWE Royal Rumble goes live on pay-per-view (PPV) tonight (Sun., Jan. 26, 2014) at 8 p.m. ET from the Consol Energy Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, but the promotion is also offering a free live stream of its pre-show -- what's now being called "Kickoff to ..." -- starting at 7:30 p.m. ET.
The featured match to get the crowd nice and warmed up for the main show will be a tag team championship showdown pitting the Rhodes Brothers (Cody Rhodes & Goldust) against the New Age Outlaws in a feud a month in the making. It's being done to capitalize on nostalgia to help push buys for the WWE Network, and that's fine because Road Dogg and Bad Ass can still work a solid match.
We hope.
Elsewhere, the pre-show panel of analysts will feature "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan, Ric Flair, and Shawn Michaels joining host Josh Matthews to break down all the action before the PPV goes live, as well as throughout the evening.
The show starts at 7:30 p.m. ET, so remember to come back and join us here for the live stream below:
