WWE Main Event comes waltzing back into our lives tonight (Sept. 4, 2013) at 8 p.m. ET on ION Television from Minneapolis, Minnesota. As per usual, this episode was taped on Tuesday prior to the Friday Night SmackDown tapings.
In lieu of a live blog, we're going to hit you with spoilers for tonight's show while also providing an open thread for discussion once the broadcast goes live.
- R-Truth def. Damien Sandow in a long match. Before it, Sandow cut a promo talking about Cody Rhodes being home and crying now that he's been fired. That actually got a big pop. Despite losing, Sandow was played out holding up his briefcase.
- Fandango def. Justin Gabriel because Gabriel has to wrestle every Main Event show and lose almost every time.
- Wyatt Family def. Prime Time Players, who are back to doing jobs after that brief rub from Darren Young coming out.
