The S3: Vote for Best Performer of the 2013-14 Season, Week 25

Join in a discussion with your fellow internet fans about the past week in pro wrestling: who entertained us the most, and why!

Everybody who comes to Cageside Seats has an opinion about what's going on in pro wrestling - The Smark's Shoot Standings (S3) are where YOU let us know YOURS.

Cast a vote in the comments. Give us the three performers you think entertained or impressed the most in the last week, and feel free to talk about why. And/or vote for your top performer in our poll.

We also have the outcome of last week's voting, the results of which make up our annual competition for Performer of the Year.

Remember, the Standings are for the previous week's nationally televised pro wrestling shows - the September 23th episode of WWE Monday Night Raw, Wednesday night's WWE Main Event, TNA Impact from September 26th and the WWE SmackDown that aired on Friday the 27th.

Make YOUR mark, smarks!

Winning a pay-per-view (PPV) week as a non-wrestler deserves something special:

Would CM Punk still want one if his nemesis' likeness was on it?

• The muscle of The Shield, and owner of the sweetest Spear in wrestling today, came damn close to the top spot with his usual solid performances and a main event spot on Raw.

• The winner's newest guy got a kiss on the cheek from You Smarks to round out a very interesting top three.

• He was only WWE champ for about 22 hours of the week in question, but that earned The Beard a few more points, and a landed him a couple of spots ahead of the man who held his title in abeyance for the betterment of the business. I believe that the striped shirt at the center of that controversy also became the first (non-guest) referee to place in a weekly top ten with his part in the three-way tie for eighth.

• The Show-Off got a chance to do just that on PPV and then pinned the United States champion on Raw.

• Beating up Miz is always good for some Standings points, even in a week where you lose the title.

• And nobody doesn't like watching Joe kill dudes, or The American Dream talk about his family's recent hard times.

The S3: 2013-14, Week 24

1. Paul Heyman
2. Roman Reigns

3. Ryback
4. Daniel Bryan
5. Dolph Ziggler

6. (tie) HHH
6. (tie) Randy Orton
8. (tie) Samoa Joe

8. (tie) Dusty Rhodes
8. (tie) Scott Armstrong

Points in our weekly Standings determine our annual list - full details on rules and scoring HERE.

Heyman leaps into a tie for sixth with the second most popular Hound of Justice, while the COO lurks just outside of the top ten. If things go according to plan, there should be a full list of everyone with points in next week's edition of The S3.
