The S3: Vote for Best Performer of the 2013-14 Season, Week 24

Join in a discussion with your fellow internet fans about the past week in pro wrestling: who entertained us the most, and why!

Everybody who comes to Cageside Seats has an opinion about what's going on in pro wrestling - The Smark's Shoot Standings (S3) are where YOU let us know YOURS.

Cast a vote in the comments. Give us the three performers you think entertained or impressed the most in the last week, and feel free to talk about why. And/or vote for your top performer in our poll.

We also have the outcome of last week's voting, the results of which make up our annual competition for Performer of the Year.

Remember, the Standings are for the previous week's nationally televised pro wrestling shows - WWE's Night of Champions pay-per-view (PPV), the September 16th episode of WWE Monday Night Raw, Wednesday night's WWE Main Event, TNA Impact from September 19th and the WWE SmackDown that aired on Friday the 20th.

Make YOUR mark, smarks!

Does his return herald the second coming of the Attitude Era?

Let's hope not. But you still got it, G!

• The WWE champ is starting to get some serious consideration here week in and week out. Too bad his belt's being held in abeyance.

30 second giant swings get you swung right back onto the charts, Signor Cesaro.

• The straight-shooting AJs are again back to back in the Standings, one for winning the Bound for Glory series and one for...being AJ Lee, mostly.

• The corporate bully and the locker room bully (neither of whom thinks of themselves as a bully) tied for 6th.

• While a guy named Bully kept his TNA world championship, a fan favorite of the undercard returned and a Canadian continued cementing herself as the greatest backstage interviewer since Gene was Mean - and all three tied for eighth.

The S3: 2013-14, Week 23

1. Goldust
2. Randy Orton

3. Antonio Cesaro
4. AJ Styles
5. AJ Lee

6. (tie) HHH
6. (tie) Ryback
8. (tie) Bully Ray

8. (tie) Renee Young
8. (tie) Santino Marella

Points in our weekly Standings determine our annual list - full details on rules and scoring HERE.

No weekly points for Daniel Bryan means...that there's still an ocean between him and the field. But the Divas champ inched closer, the Swiss Superman leapt back into the top five and the Viper has ridden his string of good performances into the annual ten spot.

Remember, these are SHOOT standings...winning isn't everything here, like in that other Cageside compilation.

The S3 Performer of the Year - through the Week Ending September 14

1. Daniel Bryan - 183 points
2. AJ Lee - 70.875

3. CM Punk - 57.85

4. Dean Ambrose
- 54.1
5. Antonio Cesaro - 52
6. Seth Rollins - 51

7. Damien Sandow - 48.03
8. Fandango - 44

9. Paul Heyman - 41

10. Randy Orton - 33
