They're tag teams in turmoil! It's tag team turmoil!
Yeah.
The Night of Champions pre-show, now affectionately now as the "kickoff", will feature a five-team, 10 man tag team turmoil match pitting the Real Americans vs. Tons of Funk vs. Prime Time Players vs. The Usos vs. 3MB at the Joe Louis Arena in Detroit, Michigan.
From WWE.com:
The Shield fancy themselves as the "Hounds of Justice," but every top dog will always have its challengers. In this case, there just happen to be 10 of them. But for the ravenous denizens of WWE's tag team division, there is only one path to challenging Seth Rollins & Roman Reigns at Night of Champions: They'll have to survive the Night of Champions Kickoff, and with it, Tag Team Turmoil.
A unique match stipulation where the five teams compete gauntlet-style to determine survival of the fittest, the bout will pit two teams in the ring until one is eliminated, at which point a new tandem will enter the scrum and face off against the survivors of the previous matchup. Last men standing get their opportunity at the twin titles.
Yes, the second tag team match will be for the titles on the main show when the winner of the turmoil match moves on to face The Shield team of Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns.
I think we can stop actively complaining about the lack of a tag team division now, right?
