The S3: Vote for Best Performer of the 2013-14 Season, Week 21

Join in a discussion with your fellow internet fans about the past week in pro wrestling: who entertained us the most, and why!

Everybody who comes to Cageside Seats has an opinion about what's going on in pro wrestling - The Smark's Shoot Standings (S3) are where YOU let us know YOURS.

Cast a vote in the comments. Give us the three performers you think entertained or impressed the most in the last week, and feel free to talk about why. And/or vote for your top performer in our poll.

We also have the outcome of last week's voting, the results of which make up our annual competition for Performer of the Year.

Remember, the Standings are for the previous week's nationally televised pro wrestling shows - the August 26th episode of WWE Monday Night Raw, Wednesday night's WWE Main Event, TNA Impact from August 29th and the WWE SmackDown that aired on Friday the 30th.

Make YOUR mark, smarks!

I have no idea what will be run in this space over the next 35 weeks...

Scott Pilgrim fans can thank deviant artist calibretto3 (Mike Donohue) for this one.

• His corporate nemesis gave him a run for his money, much better than either of his SummerSlam opponents, but none were a match for the GOAT in the Year of the Beard.

• The Best and the Beast had the match of the night last Sunday, earning them third and fourth place for the week. Punk has leapt up to second place in the annual Standings, despite taking more than two months off.

• The front made of the Extraordinary Gentleman's Organization proves that good quality heeling shines through regardless of your employer.

• Three way dance at eight between two two reigning champs and two folks named AJ.

The S3: 2013-14, Week 20

1. Daniel Bryan
2. HHH

3. CM Punk
4. Brock Lesnar
5. Randy Orton

6. John Cena
7. Bobby Roode
8. (tie) AJ Lee

8. (tie) AJ Styles
8. (tie) Alberto Del Rio

Points in our weekly Standings determine our annual list - full details on rules and scoring HERE.

Not much movement here except for the one made by the Straight-Edged one, but every position except one is still very much up for grabs as we head toward the halfway mark of the year.
