WWE SummerSlam results: Cody Rhodes beats Damien Sandow sans mustache

Cody Rhodes got his revenge on Damien Sandow by defeating him via pinfall at tonight's (Sun., Aug. 18, 2013) WWE SummerSlam pay-per-view (PPV) at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California.

It did so, however, sans mustache.

That's right, folks. Although the focus should be on the fact that Rhodes defeated his old tag team partner in the Rhodes Scholars as payback for his stealing the Money in the Bank briefcase out from under his nose last month, instead it's on Cody having shaved off the mustache that had helped get him over to a larger audience.

Yeah.

The match itself was a rather pedestrian affair. Rhodes hit a muscle buster at one point, but there was very little back-and-forth and the outcome seemed clear from the get go.
