WWE Main Event spoilers and open thread for July 3

WWE Main Event comes waltzing back into our lives tonight (July 3, 2013) at 8 p.m. ET on ION Television from . As per usual, this episode was taped on Tuesday prior to the SmackDown tapings.

In lieu of a live blog, we're going to hit you with spoilers for tonight's show while also providing an open thread for discussion once the broadcast goes live.

- Christian def. Damien Sandow in what was described as a very good 20-minute battle. Sandow got heat on himself by cutting a promo beforehand. Your typical WWE main event style match, pun intended, with plenty of near falls and what not.

- Zeb Colter promo on Sin Cara and the upcoming Independence Day.

- Jack Swagger def. Sin Cara after a typical match with Sin Cara apparently failing to get the crowd behind any of his comebacks before tapping to the Patriot Lock.

- Big E. Langston def. Curt Hawkins. Apparently, Hawkins is working a biker gimmick now, which sound hilarious considering what TNA has going on. AJ Lee on commentary for the short match that wasn't much more than a squash.
