The Hulkimate Warrior?
The Ultimate Maniacs?
I'm not sure how you describe a tag team of Hulk Hogan and The Ultimate Warrior, but you would think that after the Mega Powers exploded -- as well as #31 on this list -- Hulkster wouldn't be in such a big hurry to team up with another former rival.
But desperate times call for desperate measures.
After all, you need a special level of talent to deal with the awesome evilness of Sgt. Slaughter, who turned traitor and aligned himself with Colonel Mustafa and General Adnan for a "match made in hell" at SummerSlam, which took place on August 26, 1991 at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
Randy Savage marrying Elizabeth (kayfabe) was the broadcast's "match made in heaven."
Even though I watched the event live, I have no recollection of what transpired, to give you an idea of how much I cared at that point, even with Sid Justice as the special guest referee. But I do remember the insane promos leading up to their handicapped match.
Like this one.
What the hell is happening at the start of the promo?
Warrior is reportedly "back" with WWE, despite being an "ass-clown who couldn't do business," according to his former "blood brother." The same blood brother who was accused of being a lying druggie who screwed most (if not all) of the WWE roster at one point or another.
Looking back, it's kind of bizarre to see them carrying on like the lunatics that they are.
But isn't that why we love them?
