After perhaps the most hype for any women's match in WWE in years, AJ Lee met Kaitlyn at tonght's (Sun., July 14, 2013) Money in the Bank pay-per-view (PPV) at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, with the Diva's championship on the line.
As expected, AJ, the most pushed Diva since Trish Stratus in her prime, retained her title with the Black Widow submission.
The story of the match was simple: It was short, and Kaitlyn had her opportunity, hitting the spear, but injured her elbow in the process, allowing Lee to gain the advantage and ultimately lock in her submission to leave with the belt.
That likely brings an end to this program. Are we satisfied?
