It's official: Kane out of Money in the Bank ladder match due to Wyatt family attack

WWE made it official today: Kane is out of the "Money in the Bank" pay-per-view on July 14 in Philadelphia due to the Wyatt family attack from "Monday Night Raw" this past week.

After teasing that an official announcement would be made today, has made it official: The Wyatt family attack on Monday Night Raw earlier this week will keep Kane out of the WWE championship Money in the Bank "All Stars" ladder match at the pay-per-view (PPV) of the same name this Sun., July 14, 2013, at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

From the report:

After days of speculation, it's now official. The Big Red Monster Kane will not compete in this Sunday's Money in the Bank All-Stars Match, according to sources.

Kane was injured in a brutal assault by The Wyatt Family on Raw, leaving the veteran with head and neck trauma.

The article goes on to state it's possible someone will be chosen as a replacement before giving a list of potentials. However, it also states it's entirely possible no one steps into the match and it goes ahead with the six wrestlers slated to participate right now: CM Punk, Sheamus, Randy Orton, Daniel Bryan, Christian, and Rob Van Dam.

This may have always been the plan, and it's probably for the best. Kane always seemed a little out of place in a gimmick match like this, even though he's won it before. It also sets up for that big six-man tag team match against the men who took him out at SummerSlam next month.

Are any of you Cagesiders upset "The Big Red Monster" won't be working this Sunday?
