Lesnar to interfere at Money in the Bank?

Speculating on the rumors surrounding pro wrestling is a favored pastime of many fans, perhaps second only to actually watching the matches. In this daily column, we take a look at the latest rumors being churned out by the pro wrestling rumor mill.

Important reminder: Rumors are just that -- rumors. None of this has been confirmed as legitimate news or fact; so remember to take it all with a grain of salt.

Rumors for the Day:

  • Early rumors are starting to come in for WWE's WrestleMania 30 plans, and if they are any indication, CM Punk may achieve his career goal of main eventing the "Showcase of the Immortals." The current plan for Royal Rumble is for Punk to win, then go on finally to main event WrestleMania.
  • Speaking of Punk, there is a rumor out there that Brock Lesnar may interfere with Punk before or during the "red" Money in the Bank ladder match in order to further their feud for SummerSlam. It would seem unlikely that WWE would burn one of Lesnar's (expensive) limited appearances for an unannounced pay-per-view spot, but considering he is scheduled to appear at the Raw following the event, it is a possibility.
  • Many of you were likely surprised to hear that Jack Swagger would be taking place in the "blue" Money in the Bank ladder match since Swagger was expected to be out until August with a torn ligament in his thumb. Word is that he is being rushed back into action and his hand will be heavily taped and protected during the action.
  • WWE Champion John Cena took this weekend off from house shows in North and South Dakota, with Sheamus taking his place in the scheduled tables matches with Ryback. Cena similarly took a weekend off last month, where his absence was covered for by Shawn Michaels and the New Age Outlaws. In other house show news, Dean Ambrose and Zack Ryder reportedly had an excellent no DQ match for the US Title, with Ambrose obviously retaining.
  • TNA has officially retired their Knockouts Tag Team Championship titles. ODB and Eric Young were the final champions, and relinquished the title belts two weeks ago on Impact.

If you have heard of any interesting rumors that you'd like to add, feel free to post them in the comments section below. Please remember, these are merely rumors. Try not to take them too seriously, just have fun with them.
