WWE MAIN EVENT RESULTS & LIVE BLOG FOR JUNE 19
Geno here.
Broadcast is live.
We get the same video that ran on Monday Night Raw to open the show. It's the recap from the Payback pay-per-view (PPV) that went down this past Sunday night. It was one hell of a video, we can say that much.
Now it's on to the best one hour wrestling show on television.

SHIELD.
Hey, look who's on commentary this evening. It's none other than Cody Rhodes, who has replaced Ricardo Rodriguez. I wonder why that call was made. It can't be because Alberto Del Rio went heel, because Cody is a heel.
The Shield vs. The Usos & Justin Gabriel
Hey look at this, Gabriel is moving up the Main Event card. Good for him!
The Shield just got one hell of a match out of Jimmy, Jey, and Justin. It was your usual six-man tag team affair. They did a good job of building towards the babyfaces coming close but falling just short amidst a lot of chaos.
Ultimately, Ambrose got the pin on Gabriel.

They advertise a video replay of Brock Lesnar laying out CM Punk from Raw. So you can check out the hockey game on NBC now.
Oh, looks like it hasn't started yet. Sorry!

Antonio Cesaro vs. Sin Cara
Cesaro is out with Zeb Colter. That's why Sin Cara is out here. Colter asks what type of man wears a mask. He might be paying tribute to luchadores or whatever but the truth is that he's hiding and came here to America to take advantage of all the amenities we have here that he doesn't have in Mexico, like clean water.
Cesaro says "We the people" and the match gets underway.
The Miz immediately calls attention the fact that Colter was mispronouncing Cesaro's name, wondering aloud in the form of a question. Cody Rhodes followed up with "yeah, I'm confused." Josh Matthews confirmed Colter had it wrong.
This commentary team is actually pretty damn good.
Cesaro actually got a very good match out of Sin Cara, despite the disparity in credible offense between the two, before winning via Neutralizer.

Kaitlyn vs. Aksana
How is it that Kaitlyn gets such a big reaction on taped shows and not live ones?
Oh, that's right.
Anyway, Kaitlyn won a nothing match with the spear.

Replay time to close the show. It's the Henry segment from Raw, so it's worth it.
End.
