Six-Man Tag Team Match:

Aces & Eights (D.O.C., Garett Bischoff and Wes Brico) vs. Samoa Joe, Magnus and Jeff Hardy

A renewed push for a young Brit, now partnered with a famous original and the biggest star in the company, results in a pay-per-view match against three members of the villainous heel group.

The Road to Slammiversary

The powers-that-be in TNA are reportly high on former British Invasion member Magnus. A two-time tag team champion, he was written off television late last fall when his knees were attacked by Aces & Eights, especially D.O.C. and his trusty ball-peen hammer.

He returned to defend his home country from the insults of the club while Impact was touring England. This reignited his issues with the bikers. Magnus would join Team TNA for their victory over the group at Lockdown, but when he was granted an opportunity to take on Sergeant at Arms Devon for his Television title, D.O.C. and Knux beat him down before he could make it to the ring.

The young Englander stood up for his employer again when he protected Sam Shaw from an assault prior to his Gut Check tournament match. When he defeated Wes Brisco in a match made on the spot, the director of chaos and young Garret Bischoff made to jump him again, but he was rescued by former partner and rival Samoa Joe.

Joe and Magnus had been tag team champions, but they also dueled through a brutal series for the TV title Joe eventually lost to Devon. They made some amends while fighting for the company at Lockdown. But it remains to be seen if they can coexist for long.

As it always is when dealing Aces & Eights, the numbers were on the club's side. With that in mind, Joe and Magnus turned to a superstar without a date to the dance. Jeff Hardy, not seen since being stretchered off following a loss to Bully Ray in Full Metal Mayhem while trying to regain his TNA World championship, will round out the trio when they take on D.O.C. and the young guns of the club, Brisco and Bischoff.

What's at stake?

Bragging rights, honor, redemption.

Nothing officially is on the line, but D-Lo Brown can tell you want happens to Aces & Eights members who let down the club. And Joe, Magnus and Hardy are looking to gain momentum in a climb up the TNA singles ladder.

The match may have been made last minute, but Cageside Seats will keep you up-to-date as the results come in from this and all of tomorrow night's action!
