WWE Main Event results and live blog for April 3: The one before WrestleMania 29

Complete results & the running live blog from Washington D.C. for tonight's (Apr. 3, 2013) episode of WWE "Main Event". This will be the last Main Event prior to the big "WrestleMania 29" pay-per-view (PPV) extravaganza set to go down this Sun., April 7.

WWE Main Event comes waltzing back into our lives tonight (Apr. 3, 2013) at 8 p.m. ET on ION Television from the nation's capital, that's right, good ol' Washington, D.C. This will be our last episode of Main Event prior to WrestleMania 29 this weekend.

Tonight's show features The Miz vs. The Prime Time Players (Darren Young & Titus O'Neil) in a handicap match. Wade Barrett will join JBL & Michael Cole on commentary, in order to help hype his Intercontinental championship match against Miz this Sunday during the WrestleMania pre-show.

Out comes The Miz, followed by The Prime Time Players.

Out comes Wade Barrett. He sees the look in Miz's eyes. Tonight he wants to observe The Miz before falling to the Great Barrage.

Awesome vs. Millions of Dollars

The Miz vs. The Prime Time Players in a handicap match

Young getting first cracked at Miz. Miz takes him down with a side headlock. Young makes it back to his feet. Off the ropes he goes and lands the shoulder block.

Miz pops up and he hits the shoulder block. He goes for the Figure Four Leg lock, but Young is able to squirm to the ropes.

Young and O'Neil call a timeout and regroup.

We come back from commercial with....The Miz mocking O'Neil's dance.

O'Neil does not like this, and lays into Miz with heavy rights. He goes for a body slam, but Miz squrims free.

Miz lands a few rights of his own. Off the ropes he goes. He slides between O'Neil's legs and tries to bring the big man down.

O'Neil is having none of it. He lifts Miz up, and lands a nasty uppercut.

He finally hits the body slam before tagging in Young.

Young with a kick to the midsection before gaining the headlock. The Miz struggles to get back to his feet. Young tries to land the suplex, but Miz reverses into one of his own.

Miz sends Young head first into the turnbuckle. He climbs onto the second rope and lands a flurry of punches.

Only good for a two count.

Miz sends Young off the ropes. He leans forward, but Young is able to stop his momentum and hit a kick to the dome

Young drops an elbow before tagging in O'Neil, who drops one of his own. He sends Miz into the second rope before pulling the rope and whipping Miz back into the ring.

Tag to young, who runs the rope.

But Miz is waiting with a high knee. Young is on his ass, and Miz lands a kick to the face.

Only gets two.

Young rolls out of the ring. O'Neil rushes over to get Young back in before the ten count.

A flurry of rights by The Miz. O'Neil jumps on the apron, but Miz quickly knocks him off. He hits the backbreaker - neckbreaker combo.

Only good for two.

We come back from commercial with O'Neil landing a big shoulder block.

Only good for two.

O'Neil has The Miz in the adominal stretch. He's finally able to get free and run the ropes.

O'Neil lifts him up for a knee to the back before flipping Miz over his head.

Tag to young. He lands a series of chops before dropping the leg.

Miz kicks out at two.

Young with the side headlock. The Miz manages to get to a standing base, but Young sends him into the corner. He whips Miz post to post. Young tries to follow, but eats a knee. He stumbles into the middle of the ring. The Miz goes after him.

And eats a huge right hand from Young

Only good for two.

Tag to O'Neil, and they hit the double team front suplex.

Only gets two.

The Miz is crawling to the corner. O'Neil hits the running splash.

Again, only gets a two count.

Again The Miz crawls to the corner. Again O'Neil charges.

But this time Miz dives out of the way.

O'Neil makes it to his corner to tag in Young.

Miz sends Young into the corner and hits the running clothesline. O'Neil jumps onto the apron, but Miz quickly knocks him off. He lands a double axe handle from the top rope.

Miz and Young exchange blows.

Young has Miz set up for Gut Check!

The Miz manages squirms free.

O'Neil charges into the ring, but Miz quickly sends him through the ropes.

Young with a beautiful bridge!

Only gets two.

O'Neil with the distraction on the apron.

Rollup by Young!

Only good for two.

The Miz with a baseball slide to O'Neil. Young tries to take advantage again, but The Miz proves too quick this time and escapes.

The Miz locks in the Figure Four in the middle of the ring, and Young is forced to tap.

The Miz wins via submission
