"The Great Debate." On April 14, 2003, World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) thought it would be prudent to use its flagship program, Monday Night RAW, to host a debate on the merits of Operation: Iraqi Freedom, the United States military campaign in Iraq following the dark days of 9/11.

Bring on Scott Steiner!

Yes, "Big Poppa Pump" was going to debate the issue against Harvard graduate and Tough Enough finalist Chris Nowinski, with Jerry Lawler as special guest referee moderator. If you're wondering what qualifies the "Big Bad Booty Daddy" to comment on such things, well, he'll tell ya himself:

"See, throughout my career, I've wrestled in a lot of countries, but without a shadow of a doubt, the United States of America is the greatest country of them all!"

Cue the applause!

See the debacle debate for yourself:

Holla, if you're patriotic! Or just watch the video and shake your head in embarrassment.
