The seventh episode of "Off The Top Rope"
(A Cagesider's Pro Wrestling Podcast - made for you - by fans like you) has been made available to you as of Friday night (Apr. 12) by none-other-than your fellow Cagesiders, Mike (aka vfn) & Rex Ivanovic (aka Buckeye Brawler). Each episode features the guys discussing the latest news and goings-on of note in the pro wrestling world. Plus, they review a classic professional wrestling event!
This week's episode features chatter from Mike & Rex on the mic, with special guest co-host, Cageside Seats' own Sean 's1rude' Rueter joining them to discuss the week that was and more:
- The guys discuss the past week starting at TNA Impact Thursday (Apr. 4) and taking us all the way through to Monday Night Raw's WrestleMania 29 fallout show (Apr. 8).
- Because of the uniqueness of the event we reviewed, the show was recorded chronologically. This is not something the guys plan on doing full time, however:
- [2:00-11:00] - Impact Wrestling talk, including what comes from the Gut Check match, the stipulations to this week's tag title match and the implications, and should Brooke Hogan turn heel?
- [11:00-29:00] - Talk on the biggest indy weekend of the year, including stuff on Evolve, DGUSA, Ring of Honor, CZW, and Shimmer.
- [31:00-1:18:00] - It's WrestleMania time, but did the show pass the mustard? (Hint: they might spend more time talking Sin Cara, Richie Steamboat, and Michael McGillicutty than the show.)
- [1:19:00-1:46:00] - We talk this week's incredible Raw, Dolph Ziggler cashing in and if it means anything, the crowd and their chants, and did Ryback turn heel?
- They also name their MVP and LVP of WrestleMania, and announce next week's Listener's Choice winner! (***spoiler alert*** -- it's ECW One Night Stand 2006.)
