Rumor Roundup for Friday, April 12

Big Show in legal trouble? More upcoming feuds, Miz taking time off, Jericho sticking around? And more!

Speculating on the rumors surrounding pro wrestling is a favored pastime of many fans, perhaps second only to actually watching the matches. In this daily column, we will be taking a look at the latest rumors being churned out by the pro wrestling rumor mill.

Important reminder: Rumors are just that -- rumors. None of this has been confirmed as legitimate news or fact; so remember to take it all with a grain of salt.

Rumors for the Day:

  • Courthouse News Service is reporting that former WWE producer Andrew Green is suing WWE and Big Show, claiming that he was assaulted by Big Show during an interview.
  • The Shield (Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins & Roman Reigns) are indeed moving closer to the Tag Team titles. The plan seems to be for two members of The Shield to take on Team Hell No (Kane & Daniel Bryan) at WWE's Extreme Rules pay-per-view (PPV) on May 19, where Hell No is expected to be dropping the titles.
  • Over the past few days, we've noted that Ryback will likely be undergoing a full heel turn to feud with John Cena, and that Sheamus and Mark Henry are also likely set to begin feuding. Further supporting these rumors are the advertised main events for several WWE shows in May, likely as "dark match" main events. These advertisements have Cena teaming with Sheamus to take on Ryback & Mark Henry in a tag team match. (I guess Ryback & Henry put their differences behind them in less than a week...?)
  • Miz will be taking some time off to film WWE Studios and ABC Family's production called Christmas Bounty. Miz will star in the film, set for release later this year during ABC Family's 25 Days of Christmas.
  • Jericho is currently only scheduled for the April, 22 Monday Night Raw taping in London, UK. He will be spending most of the summer touring with his band, Fozzy, but it is believed he will be "popping up" on WWE programming whenever his tour schedule allows.
  • The Rock's abdominal injury must not have been too severe, as he is already back to working out in preparation for his role as the titular character in the filming of the upcoming Hercules movie.

If you have heard of any interesting rumors that you'd like to add, feel free to post them in the comments section below. Please remember, these are merely rumors. Try not to take them too seriously, just have fun with them.
