WWE Main Event results and live blog for April 10: The one after WrestleMania 29

WWE Main Event comes waltzing back into our lives tonight (Apr. 10, 2013) at 8pm ET on ION Television from the TD Garden in Boston, Mass. This episode, which was of course, as always, taped on Tuesday night will be our first of Main Event after WrestleMania 29 this past weekend.

Tonight's show features The Shield (Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins & Roman Reigns), Brodus Clay, Sweet T, Kofi Kingston, Big E Langston, Zack Ryder, Jack Swagger (with Zeb Colter) and Yoshi Tatsu.

Tons of Funk & Kofi Kingston vs. The Shield

Ambrose and Kofi lock up. Ambrose gains the side headlock, He's sent off the ropes and hits the shoulder block. Off the ropes he goes again. Kofi jumps over him once...twice...thrice...and hits the back elbow.

Kofi tries to whip Ambrose into the ropes, but is reversed. Kofi stops before bouncing off them. Ambrose charges and is thrown over the top.

Kofi goes for the baseball slide, but Ambrose dodges. the pair exchange punches before traveling back into the ring.

Tag to Rollins. He tries the hip toss, but is monkey flipped by Kofi.

Only gets a two count.

Tag to Brodus. Rollins off the ropes, but meets the big headbutt. Brodus lands a few shots to the midsection, followed by a giant splash.

Tag to Sweet T. Double team sidewalk slam from the giants.

Only good for two.

Giant splash from Sweet T. Rollins is downed in the corner.

And a rolling senton by Sweet T!

Rollins is pulled out of the ring by his partners. He catches his breath before rolling back.

He slowly makes it back to the ring.

Sweet T charges...

Sweet Enziguri from Rollins!

Tag to Ambrose. Sweet T is trapped in the heel corner. Ambrose lands a few punches before making the tag to Reigns.

Huge rights by Reigns, followed by a headbutt, followed by three rights, and then another headbutt.

Sweet T knocks Ambrose and Rollins off the apron. He turns around...

Right into a Samoan drop from Reigns!

Only gets two.

We come back from commercial with Rollins getting a two count on Sweet T. The big man is sent to the heel corner.

Tag to Reigns. Series of heavy rights to the dome, but Sweet T kicks out of the cover at two.

Reigns with the side headlock. Sweet T makes his way to his feet. A headbutt from Reigns drops him.

Series of tags to Ambrose and Rollins. Ambrose flies off the rope for a dropkick, followed by Rollins.

Only gets two.

Sweet T is sent to the corner. A pair of splashes by Rollins. Off the ropes he goes...

And Sweet T catches him for the cross body!

Both men are down! Both men are crawling...

Kofi with the hot tag! Ambrose with the hot tag! Everyone gets a hot tag!

Kofi gets his shine with the pair of double axe handles, pair of clothes lines and the Boom Drop. He is sent to the corner. Ambrose charges...

And meets a pendulum kick from Kofi. He follows it up with a top rope cross body.

Only good for two.

Kofi going for the SOS...

Ambrose hits the clothesline.

Tag to Rollins. Big knee off the top rope.

Brodus charges the ring...

And eats a nasty spear from Reigns.

Rollins pick up the three count, and that's the match

The Shield win by pure awesomeness.

Post match beat down by The Shield. Kofi is sent into the barricade. Brodus stomped in the corner.

And Sweet T eats the Triple Powerbomb.

And now Brodus gets one for his troubles as well.

Recap of Dolph Ziggler becoming the NEW World Heavyweight Champion.

Striker introduces Dolph Ziggler...

But Ziggler is not there! It's Big E!

Big E tells us the new World Heavyweight Champion does not have time for interviews. He is doing media, eating steak dinners with his girlfriend, and preparing to take over the world.

But Striker can interview him.

Striker wants to know what was it like to debut on the grandest stage of them all, WrestleMania.

Big E says, "It was a blast! it was Christmas, Easter, and Thanksgiving all rolled into one".

He was being sarcastic.

Big E remembers losing. But he also remembers winning on his Raw debut, and Dolph Ziggler cashing in. And it was fun.

And he's going to have just as much fun in the ring right now.

Big E vs. Zack Ryder

Big E with the back body to start. Lands a series of huge rights to the gut. He goes for the splash, but Ryder ducks out of the way.

Ryder runs the ropes...

And meets a huge body slam.

Big E lands a shoulder tackle in the corner. He backs up, charges...

And eats a Ryder boot.

To the top rope we go!

Top rope top kick Ryder!

Big E pops back up and delivers a belly-to-belly suplex.

The straps are down!

And he hits the Big Ending! That gets the three count!

Big E Langston wins via jobber slaughter

Swagger and Zeb to the ring, Zeb with the mic. He makes his introductions as Real Americans.

Zeb is glad to make his first Main Event in Boston, Ma. Home of the Tea Party and Bunker Hill.

He asks who here is a Real American. He wonders if they are Real Americans, then why do they play a Canadian sport?

DON'T YOU DARE MAKE FUN OF MY BRUINS YOU SON OF A BI...

Sorry. Got carried away there.

He goes on to make a play on words about TD Garden. He says the only thing Boston has going for it is when they dump tea into the ocean and the turncoat Paul Revere.

I SWEAR TO ZEUS I WILL KICK YOUR MUSTACHED ASS YOU SON OF A BI....

Sorry again. Little bit carried away.

Tatsu makes his way to the ring.

Zeb is amused. He asks Tatsu to say his name.

Zeb: "What kind of name is Yoshi?"

He asks Tatsu where he is from. Tatsu responds he is from Japan. Zeb now asks what he ate.

Zeb believes it is most likely rice and fish heads.

He is also confused on the concept of chopsticks.

Why don't they just use a fork?

Zeb wants to know if Tatsu drank any Saki?

How many more does he have?

Zeb now apologizes, and says he's just trying to make a point about how this culture is not work. He offers his hands in friendship.

Tatsu hesitates...

But finally accepts.

Zeb bows as a way to show respect.

Tatsu bows as well.

And eats a kick to the teeth by Swagger.

Jack Swagger vs. Yoshi Tatsu

Swagger charges Tatsu into the corner. He lands a series of high knees before a flurry of big rights.

Tatsu manages to squirm out and land some punches of his own. He then runs the ropes...

And is caught for the body slam.

Swagger kicks a mudhole in Tatsu's ass in the corner.

We come back from commercial with Yoshi in the transition butterfly.

Makes it to his feet

Off the ropes

And eats a boot to the face.

Swagger with the hand over his heart before hitting a suplex.

Only good for a two count.

Swagger with the front face headlock. He unloads a series of forearms to drop Tatsu.

Knee to Tatsu's back for Swagger. Tatsu is finally able to make it to his feet...

And his hit with the body slam.

Swagger tries to drop the leg...

But Tatsu rolls out of the way!

He unloads on Swagger with punches and kicks. He hits the hit the high boot. Tatsu then rolls Swagger forward and lands a kick to the face.

Only good for two.

To the top rope we go! And down he comes with the flying leg!

But Swagger moves out of the way!

And he hits a pair of Swagger bombs!

Now he wants Tatsu to say "We the people."

Tatsu declines, and Swagger puts him in the Patriot Lock. Tatsu is forced to tap.

Swagger wins via WHO CARES, HE MADE FUN OF MY BOSTON BRUINS!

Fade to black.
