Wrestler Wrankings™: 2012-13 Season, Week 44

How will the returns of The Rock and Brock Lesnar affect the Wrankings landscape?

The Royal Rumble has come and gone, and with it, one of the last great opportunities to rack up Wrankings points. Complicating matters is the fact that two of the most dominant champions in the history of the sport are back in the picture.

Brock Lesnar has returned in all his volatile meatheaded glory, but regular participation in matches may be curtailed by his attempted murder of Vince McMahon last week on RAW. Obvious legal ramifications aside, other athletes on the roster may not be so willing to step into the ring with such a loose cannon.

The Rock, on the other hand, has seemingly put his movie career on hold so that he may defend his newly won WWE Championship Title. One can only speculate as to his frequency of title defenses, but "The Great One" surely has plans to defend this title for many many months to come.

I am a big supporter of the Rock, so allow me be the first to say, let the countdown to 434 days begin!
