Here's your Daily Open Thread for SUPER BOWL SUNDAY! That's right, today is the day where even we here at Cageside Seats acknowledge football reigns supreme for one day over wrestling. Yep. That's right, I said it.
As usual, come discuss whatever your heart desires here, or unload the depths of your despair, we are here for you either way, for better or for worse. Whether you get bored at work, have something on your mind, or just want to chat with all your favorite lovely Cagesiders on any topic you want -- even some wrestling!
With that in mind, for today's video, I would like to share something that fits along with the day: one of the "Super Bowl's Greatest Commercials" from a compilation by CBS Sports, which can be found here. Enjoy ~
Also, for those of you who would like to know more about this American Football thing, here's a preview for you to break down everything you need to know to sound like you are in the know for Super Bowl Sunday from the crew at NFL Today:
Then, after checking that out, you should be sure to scroll on down through the thread, make a comment or two -- or dozens; revisit it throughout the day (and night). You will be sure to enjoy some of the usual gems from your fellow Cagesiders, including:
Match of the Day, Music Video Link of the day, Babe of the day, Bro of the day, Alison Brie gif of the day, AJ Lee pic of the day, Photo Caption of the Day, and more!
This thread is not guaranteed to cheer up any form of blues you may have, but it will at least give you a venue to gripe about work, your better half, the kids, heels or faces in your life, or the general public at large or to perhaps celebrate all the shit that makes you happy in this world and gives you a chance to just chill with us Cagesiders.
Give it a go, comment or lurk 'til your heart is content!

UPDATE: In the words of our fearless General, Geno Mrosko, The GM of Cageside:
The day has arrived...
Super Bowl XLVII at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana, on Sun., Feb. 3, 2013, where the AFC ChampionBaltimore Ravens will battle the NFC Champion San Francisco 49ers for the right to hoist the Lombardi Trophy.
Get hyped!
There's more than just a game to get hyped for, though. When you're not watching Colin Kaepernick dropping dimes to Vernon Davis orJoe Flacco airing deep balls to Torrey Smith in between doses ofFrank Gore and Ray Rice, respectively, you'll be taking in commercials that cost upwards of $4 million.
And that's just 30 seconds of space.
That's what happens when a television show frequently breaks more than 100 million viewers like the Super Bowl. It also makes for a mad dash of creativity, as every company willing to shell out that kind of coin is eager to put its best foot forward in front of the largest audience possible.
It makes for some seriously compelling commercials.
Luckily for us, many of these commercials are released or leaked before they air during the game and in this post, we'll share as many as we can get our grubby little hands on. This post will be updated as more come in, so be sure to check back frequently.
Let's get to it:
What do you think, Cagesiders? Any favorites this year?
