There are some days when one's heart is so full of pain the only thing you can do is run into your room, lock the door, throw on some depressing music and cry. The suffering wells up inside of you, trying to burst out at every seem. There is no escape from the hell you are currently in, and all you want to do is drop off the face of this Earth.

Then there are days when you just want to jump around your room like a teenage girl. This is one of those days for the C. J.

A personal favorite song of mine for a variety of reasons, Canadian superstar -- that equates to about .85 American superstars -- Avril Lavigne is the voice of a generation. She embodies pop-punk-faux rock like no one ever really could. And so, without further ado, one of Mrs. Kroeger's greatest hits: "Girlfriend"
