Speculating on the rumors surrounding pro wrestling is a favored pastime of many fans, perhaps second only to actually watching the matches. In this daily column, we will be taking a look at the latest rumors being churned out by the pro wrestling rumor mill.

Important reminder: Rumors are just that -- rumors. None of this has been confirmed as legitimate news or fact; so remember to take it all with a grain of salt.

Triple H Returning to TV?

Triple H wears many different hats for WWE. The record 13-time WWE World Champion has been spending more time in his corporate role as Executive Vice President of Talent and Live Events with each passing year. And let's not forget, the man formerly known as "Hunter Hearst Helmsley" is also the heir-apparent for control of the company to his father-in-law, Vince McMahon.

We last saw Triple H in the ring at SummerSlam 2012, where he lost to Brock Lesnar. It has long been believed that Triple H would finally get his rematch with Lesnar at WrestleMania 29. Soon, we may be getting confirmation about the details of that match.

Triple H is expected to be making his pre-WrestleMania return to Raw from Dallas, TX on Feb. 25. Lesnar is also scheduled to be at that event. Interestingly, neither The Rock, nor Chris Jericho, the other two big name, recently returned Superstars, are scheduled for that show. The set up for Lesnar/Triple H-II could be the main storyline for that show.

Other Rumors for the Day:

  • The Rock has reportedly committed to work WrestleMania 30. An official announcement is expected later today. His movie schedule picks back up following WrestleMania 29 and will remain busy through the remainder of 2013. There are also hopes within WWE that he will be available to work SummerSlam in August, which is taking place in Los Angles, CA this year. Regardless of how it plays out, expect The Rock to be back in 2014.
  • WWE.com posted an article looking at the top 10 venues for hosting WrestleMania 30 in 2014. Strangely, missing from the list is the SuperDome in New Orleans, LA. As it has been expected that the SuperDome will be announced as the actual venue for the event, likely very soon.
  • Evan Bourne, who broke his foot in four places in a car accident last March, is back to working out in the ring; but has not yet been cleared to wrestle. He is not expected back until after WrestleMania, at the earliest.
  • In other injury news, Christian, who has been out of action since last summer with a shoulder injury, has been cleared to return to the ring.

If you have heard of any interesting rumors that you'd like to add, feel free to post them in the comments section below. Please remember, these are merely rumors. Try not to take them too seriously, just have some fun with them.
