Daily Open Thread for Monday, Feb. 11: Bon Anniversaire à Moi

Here's your Daily Open Thread for Monday, Feb. 11, 2013. Today, I would like to share a video of an instrumental performance. It is not necessarily a favorite song, just one that had significance to my parents. It was an instrumental version of a french love ballad and was a massive chart topper back in it's day, spending over five weeks in the number one slot on the billboard charts, as well as being the theme song for a popular movie theme from "A Summer Place" apparently.

The original french vocal is actually the one I find preferable, but alas it was not a chart topper or special to my parents. But since this is my column, I am sharing it as well.
