The first round of the Cageside Seats Greatest Moment Tournament continues today with a match-up pitting number four seed McMahon on Nitro, featuring Shane McMahon showing up on Monday Nitro on its final episode, against number 13 seed Taker Kicks Out, featuring Undertaker keeping his WrestleMania streak alive by kicking out of a Sweet Chin Music/Pedigree combo.

In 2001, Vince McMahon officially ended the Monday Night Wars when he purchased World Championship Wrestling for a measly few million dollars. But before Monday Nitro officially went off the air on TNT, Vince sent his son Shane McMahon for a simulcast that would be the opening act in the Invasion that would take place later.

Taker Kicks Out:

In his WrestleMania 28 match against Triple H with Shawn Michaels serving as special guest referee, Undertaker, looking to preserve his streak while "The Game" had promised the end of an era and brought his best friend with him as the ref, ended up getting hit with the Sweet Chin Music and Pedigree one right after the other. And he still kicked out of the ensuing pinfall attempt.
