Yesterday, WWE announced a number of personnel moves as the company seeks to address lower ratings and pay-per-view (PPV) buyrates ahead of their busiest season of the year and the long-planned launch of the WWE Network.
While that announcement mentioned that Kevin Dunn will executive produce all television programming, reporting directly to Vince McMahon, it did not say who would fill Stephanie McMahon's role as Creative head now that she is in charge of growing the overall brand.
Well, according to this response to a question sent to them by the busy pwinsider.com, meet the new boss...
Creative Writing now reports to Paul Levesque, EVP Talent and Live Events.
In addition to Stephanie McMahon's expanded responsibilities as Chief Brand Officer, she will continue to maintain a presence on TV.
So, those rumors of a toxic backstage environment where no one has any say other than HHH and Mr. McMahon? Expect that to continue.
Only now it's official.
