Cageside Seats Year-End Awards 2013: John Cena vs. CM Punk on Raw crowned 'Match of the Year'

Although WWE put on quite a few solid pay-per-view (PPV) events in 2013, featuring a ton of quality wrestling, the "Match of the Year" occurred on the Feb. 25 episode of Monday Night Raw when John Cena met CM Punk with a shot at The Rock's WWE championship at WrestleMania 29 on the line.

The match went some 25 minutes and featured both men pulling out all the stops to get it over. That includes Punk going against company rules and hitting a piledriver towards the end, a move that has been banned for some time now.

It was worth his getting reprimanded.
