AJ Lee in hot water over Tribute to the Troops incident?

According to The Wrestling Observer, there was a situation at the taping of this year's version of Tribute to the Troops at Joint Base Lewis-McChord in Washington state that has resulted in their being major heat on AJ Lee.

The incident allegedly occurred when the Divas champion saw NBC personality Michelle Beadle speaking with CM Punk.  Beadle was the host of the annual show that the company puts on for the United States military.  Punk has been romantically linked to numerous women in the pro wrestling world over the years, and earlier this summer word began to spread that he an Lee were an item.

Anything about what might have been said between any of the parties is pure speculation.  Dave Meltzer's report is that AJ delivered an "obscenity-laced tirade" at the visiting celebrity. Company officials were embarrassed and upset that AJ came off "like her character in real life, and not in a good way" - presumably meaning that she seemed dangerously unstable and possessive.

Reports go on to presume that she'll be punished for the transgression, possibly beginning with losing the Divas title to Natalya at TLC tonight.

While not being an official confirmation, some credence was lent to the rumors about what occurred when Beadle responded to irate AJ fan on Twitter with the following:

Who knows what's going on Cagesiders...but this will probably be one to watch tonight and in the days ahead.
